About Ukraine Humanitarian

Documenting truth. Delivering aid. Defending dignity—every step of the way.

Who We Are

Ukraine Humanitarian is a registered charity headquartered in the United Kingdom, founded in direct response to the February 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Comprised of international volunteers, field medics, war journalists, translators, logistics experts, and survivors, our team works at the frontlines of displacement, trauma, and resistance.

We are not affiliated with any government or political party. Our mandate is simple but uncompromising: to preserve life, dignity, and truth for the people of Ukraine.

Our Mission

Ukraine Humanitarian operates on two primary pillars: humanitarian relief and narrative integrity.

Humanitarian Relief: We provide emergency medical kits, trauma care, clean water filters, food staples, and mobile shelters to conflict-affected regions including Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Donetsk Oblast.

Narrative Integrity: We collect eyewitness accounts, preserve testimonies from survivors, and support independent journalism. We fight misinformation by disseminating verified stories, translated accurately and respectfully, for global audiences.

Our Programs

We operate across five core program areas:

  • Frontline Aid Distribution – Mobile teams deliver supplies directly to areas under fire or recently liberated.
  • Medical Training & Trauma Care – We train civilian medics in battlefield first aid, hemorrhage control, and evacuation logistics.
  • Displacement Support – We assist internally displaced persons (IDPs) with housing, legal aid, and employment transition.
  • Witness Archive – A secure, multilingual oral history archive preserving firsthand accounts for historical, legal, and journalistic use.
  • Awareness Campaigns – Public exhibitions, schools outreach, social media storytelling, and global speaking events.

How We Work

We operate a decentralized, transparent model. All donations go through a third-party audited fund. Our field teams coordinate with local Ukrainian NGOs and municipal councils for accuracy and impact. Supplies are sourced from vetted vendors, often inside Ukraine to support the local economy.

Our media and awareness arm works closely with photographers, videographers, and translators embedded in the conflict. Every story we share is verified by two sources and permission-based.

Why Awareness Saves Lives

A grandmother in Kharkiv sits in darkness, her home shelled for the third time. A child in Mykolaiv can name different types of missiles by sound. These are not just facts—they're symptoms of a world looking away. When stories are told, people listen. When they listen, they care. When they care, they act. Awareness is the bridge between silence and help.

The People Behind the Headlines

Beyond statistics are real lives. A teacher who now serves as a medic. A teenager who livestreams from a basement shelter to keep hope alive. A farmer who cleared landmines from his fields by hand. Our campaign brings their words, photos, and faces to the world—unfiltered and unedited.

What We Do

We collect firsthand accounts, partner with field journalists, and amplify credible Ukrainian voices. We translate raw footage, share survivor diaries, and produce content that makes you feel the cost of silence. No gimmicks. Just the truth, told with dignity.

How You Help

Share their stories. Invite us to speak at your school, your company, your event. Help us translate their words into more languages. Fund a medical shipment. Sponsor a temporary shelter. Raise your voice where theirs have been silenced. Your involvement—no matter how modest—builds momentum.

Beyond the Screen

We're not just online. We bring exhibitions to public spaces, curate memorials in galleries, host workshops for students and journalists. Our presence is physical—because memory must outlast the algorithm. We’ve hosted photo exhibitions in London, Berlin, and Warsaw, and we offer curriculum materials for educators worldwide.

Every Voice Matters

When the war becomes routine, apathy creeps in. But you can shake someone awake. Your repost. Your retelling. Your refusal to scroll past. That’s how stories survive. That’s how hope spreads.

Transparency & Accountability

We publish quarterly financial reports and impact assessments. Over 87% of our income is directed to direct aid and frontline programs. Administrative costs are capped at 10%. Donations are traceable through our transparency dashboard. Independent auditors verify all annual statements.
